This weekend went by way too quickly. I had such an amazing time with all my friends that I can’t believe it’s already over & I’m so sad that it is! I don’t mean to brag but….. I truly do have the best friends in the whole entire world. Even though we all live far from each other, we always pick right back up where we left off. We spent the weekend laughing and making memories with each other that will last forever. Some highlights from the weekend:
1st Annual Hop On Tour -> Maria’s Dad started a brewery tour bus business so of course we went one on this weekend. To say it was fun was an understatement. If you’re ever in the Cooperstown area, I highly suggest going on one if you’re looking for a good time!
Chickens are friends, not food 😉 huge shout out to this ^ dude.. he edits my posts! JKLM -> these girls are tattooed to my foot
As you can see, the weekend consisted of non-stop laughs & smiles and lots of love. I love all you guys so much and can’t wait for our next adventure.
Now that it’s back to reality, Chicago training starts this week! Today marks
12 14 weeks (thanks to Hanna @ The Millennial Next Door for the correction!! Let’s not get ahead of myself…) out from race day which means IT’S GO TIME! Mondays are my rest days this training cycle (which is new for me) so technically my first training run isn’t until Tuesday but I’m going into training mode starting tomorrow morning. My goals this training cycle include:
- Hit all of my training runs at the prescribed paces
- Focus on my diet more to help better my body & facilitate my recovery
- Take it one day at a time/try not to get ahead of myself
- Stay positive & determined to run a 4:30
- Become a more confident runner
- HAVE FUN!
I can’t wait to see what’s to come in the next 3 months 🙂
